A FLASHBACK

Three years ago this month we had just poured the basement floor concrete for our new ministry center.

BLESSINGS ABOUND

Now, three years later, consider the great blessings the Lord has provided! Our ministry center has enabled us to accommodate a growing number of students in our school, each one of them a precious soul for whom our Savior died and rose again.

THANKSGIVING SHINES

And see how gifts of thanksgiving continue to come in for our Tell the Next Generation program: halfway through our three-year program, we've just passed half a million dollars in pledges and gifts which people gave above and beyond their regular offerings!

OUR GOAL

Tell the Next Generation is our plan to get ahead on the mortgage payments for our new ministry center so that we can position ourselves for phase two of our building program, a new narthex. The vision is a new gathering space for people to connect before and after worship, support for parents of young children in worship, and improved accessibility and security for all of our ministries. But it's all really about spreading the gospel - the same gospel that is empowering and motivating such generous gifts within our church family.

THE GOOD NEWS

Scripture says, “Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1). Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Apart from our Savior, even our best-looking good deeds carry not the aroma of thankful joy, but the stench of humanistic pride. Through faith in Jesus, however, everything we do is a fragrant offering and sacrifice to the Lord. This is the Savior whose sacrifice atones for every sin. In him, each one of us is God's beloved child, in whom he is well-pleased. Because of our risen Savior, our labor in the Lord is never in vain.
