Call Decision Letter

Mr. Joshua Walker has returned the divine call we extended to him to serve as principal at our school. We pray that the Lord continue to bless him in his role as principal at St. Jacobi Lutheran School in Milwaukee. Plans are in place for another call meeting at St. Paul, as we seek the Lord's guidance in finding our new principal. Mr. Walker's letter is included below.

February 27, 2026

Dear St. Paul’s Lutheran Church,

Over the past few weeks, I have had the opportunity to prayerfully reflect on the ministries of St. Jacobi and St. Paul’s. It has been a blessing to speak with the leadership of both congregations as I considered where I could best serve. I was especially encouraged by the enthusiasm and dedication of the pastors, teachers, and leaders at St. Paul’s.

After much prayer and careful consideration, I have decided to return the call to serve as principal. This was not an easy decision, but I trust that God has a plan for St. Paul’s and that He will provide the right person to lead your school. We can be confident in His guidance, knowing that He equips His people for the work He has prepared for them.

God reminds us in His Word that our plans rest in His hands. In Jeremiah 29:11–13, we read: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

May God continue to bless you and the important work being done at St. Paul’s. You will remain in my prayers.
