Mr. Robbie Schmidt and his wife Mrs. Emily Schmidt have come to a decision on the calls we extended to them to serve as teachers at St. Paul Lutheran School. Here is the letter they've shared with us.

Dear Members and Faculty of St. Paul Lutheran Church and School,

It has been a privilege to learn more about your ministry in Green Bay. My wife and I enjoyed the conversations and information shared throughout the last few weeks. It certainly is an exciting ministry at St. Paul with so many great people serving there. It was a humbling process, and I appreciated the opportunity to see where God can best use us in His Kingdom.

Through much prayer and deliberation, the Lord has led us to return our calls to serve at St Paul and we will continue to serve at Divine Savior in Doral. My wife and I will keep St. Paul in our prayers as you look to fill the open positions for next year. I know that God will continue to bless your ministry in Green Bay.

Yours in Christ,

Robbie and Emily Schmidt

We pray for the Lord's blessings upon Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt as they continue to serve at Divine Savior Academy in Doral, Florida.

Our church body's window for calling active teachers from the field closes on April 15th, and we've been approved for a call meeting that day. Because of these special circumstances, we're foregoing our standard practice of giving two weeks' notice before a congregational meeting, and we're planning a special call meeting on Tuesday, April 15th, 6:00 pm, in the church fellowship hall. As before, we're calling for a 5th grade homeroom teacher, and a 7th grade teacher/assistant principal.
