From Mrs. Allonna Schmidt
Hello Members of St. Paul,
Thank you for extending a call to me to teach 3K-4K and Extended Learning. I appreciate the thoughts and prayers over the last couple of weeks while I deliberated this divine call. I have learned so much while serving as a Student Aide here at St. Paul. The Lord has placed me here for a reason, and knowing that He has a plan for me, I have decided to accept the call to teach in the 3K-4K classroom and Extended Learning. I'm eager to continue to be a part of this amazing staff and be an instrument for God to use to share His good news of salvation!
Isaiah 64:8- "Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."
Isaiah 6:8- "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!"
In Christ,
~Allonna Schmidt

From Mrs. Melissa Koenig
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ at St. Paul Lutheran Church and School,
This past week the Lord extended a Divine Call to me to serve as the second through fourth grade teacher and band director at Salem Lutheran Church in Owosso, Michigan. I am humbled to receive this Call and grateful for the opportunity to consider how my gifts may best serve the kingdom of God.
I look forward to communicating with the leaders at St. Paul, and I welcome the opportunity to speak with anyone from St. Paul who would like to contact me. In addition, I will be speaking with the leaders and members of Salem Lutheran in Owosso, Michigan.
As I prayerfully consider where to serve the Lord, I ask that you please keep me in your prayers, as well as God’s people in Owosso, Michigan. Please be assured that St. Paul Lutheran Church and School are in my prayers and in the prayers of the members of Salem as well.
Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers during this deliberation. May our gracious Lord continue to richly bless you as we serve him day by day. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
In Christ,
Melissa Koenig
