Ms. Melissa Koenig has reached a decision on her call to Salem Lutheran School in Owosso, Michigan.

Dear Pastor Zabell, Pastor Enstad, and members of St. Paul Lutheran,

Thank you for your patience over the past few weeks as I deliberated the Divine Call to Salem Lutheran church and school. It has been a privilege and a blessing to think about the ministry opportunities at Salem and here at St. Paul, knowing that the work carried out at both places is essential and guided by God’s gracious will.

With the knowledge and comfort that God’s will is being carried out with this prayerful decision, I have been led to the decision to continue my ministry here at St. Paul and return the Divine Call that was extended to me to serve as band director and teacher at Salem. 

Please keep Salem in your prayers as they continue with the calling process to fill their vacancy.

May God bless you each and every day as we live to serve Him.

We give thanks to the Lord that Ms. Koenig is continuing her service among us, and we pray that he continue to bless her and all those whom she serves. We pray for the Lord to be with Salem Lutheran and to care for them as they continue to seek the teacher he has in mind for them.
