At our congregational voters' meeting on Sunday, February 8th, a divine call was extended to Mr. Joshua Walker to serve as principal at St. Paul starting in the 2026-2027 school year. Please keep Mr. Walker and his family in your prayers as he deliberates this call. You can read his acknowledgment letter below.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School,

Grace and peace to you in Christ.

On Sunday, the voting members of your congregation extended me the divine call to serve as principal of your school. I am truly grateful and humbled by this opportunity to consider how I might serve the Lord and His kingdom.

It is already clear that St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School is a place where Christ is central and where Christian education is deeply valued. I am thankful for the faithful work you are doing to share the love of Jesus with your students, families, and community.

I look forward to speaking with your congregational and school leaders about the many blessings God has given to St. Paul’s, as well as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. These conversations will help me prayerfully reflect on how I might best serve Christ. As I consider this call alongside my current one, I kindly ask for your prayers for my family and me. I will continue to seek God’s guidance in His Word, trusting in His gracious and perfect plan.

One passage that brings me great comfort during times of discernment is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

What a blessing it is to rest in the promise that our faithful God holds the future in His hands and works all things for the good of those who love Him. May He continue to bless St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School with His grace, wisdom, and peace.

Thank you for your prayers and for the opportunity to learn more about your congregation and school. I look forward to getting to know you in the days ahead.

In Christ,

Joshua Walker

In other call news, Mr. Jared Brennan, our 8th grade teacher at St. Paul school, has come to a decision on his call to serve at Peace Lutheran in Livonia, Michigan. His letter is below:

Feb. 8, 2026

Dear Fellow members of St. Paul Lutheran

After the past few weeks of deliberating my call to Peace Lutheran and my current call here at St. Paul Lutheran I have been blessed with the opportunity to reflect on my time here at St. Paul’s. I have come to the conclusion of my deliberations and I will be returning my call to Peace Lutheran. While I could see a future for myself, serving God as a principal at Peace Lutheran, I also know it was not time to leave St. Paul. I will continue to serve the Lord here at St. Paul Lutheran.

I look forward to working with you all towards our goals of providing a wonderful and complete Christian education to our members and community. God’s blessings, and thank you to those of you who took time to assist me in my deliberations, it definitely served as helpful insight throughout the process.

Your Brother in Christ

Jared Brennan
